Ellis Acres located in Chester, South Carolina is a vertically integrated organic food production system dedicated to producing meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables in a manner which enriches the environment and maximize carbon sequestraion through agricultural practices such as no-till, permaculture, crop rotation, roational grazing, biodynamics and regenerative farming. Ellis Acres offers a classroom space as well as operational agricultural and farming facilities which facilitate education, hands-on-learning, as well as the mentorship of our next generation of farmers.

Ellis Acres Urban Hunger Relief Gardens is a neighborhood level initiative designed to prepare the next generation of farmers with the education, skills and experience necessary to meet the ever growing demands of our global food supply chain. While our kids and veterans are gaining a valuable skillset, they are also serving families in the community by providing fresh, organic produce for free or at very low cost for military families and families with food insecurities.
