Mentorship Programs

Hunt Pray Eat's mentorship programs take a holistic approach to developing our kids into highly effective adults. Our programming was designed and developed to address the three major aspects of a person; mind, body and spirit.

Monthly Excursions

Through our monthly excursions we create opportunities for our veteran and active duty men to mentor young men who are growing up without fathers. These excursions take place outdoors and are designed to develop young boys into confident men of character.

Financial Literacy

Our kids have the opportunity to attend a federally accredited financial literacy education program. This is an eight weeks long course which teaches children and young adults the importance of their credit score, how to avoid predatory lending, as well as, how to manage personal and small business finances, among other things.

Gardening and Agriculture

Gardening and agriculture is a primary area of focus for us, as we aim to develop young men who have the skills, knowledge and resources to provide for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Emotional Intelligence & Stress Coping

We offer a full suite of services to our kids and their families, as well as, to our veterans. Nothing is more critical to long term success and happiness than emotional wellness. We provide social interactions, relationships and services which provide a positive and healthy social atmosphere, but we also provide more formal services provided by highly skilled and trained professionals.

Nutrition, Health and Wellness

We have designed a curriculum which helps our participants learn about nutrition, health and wellness in a fun and interactive way.

Sports Camps

Our kids have the opportunity to attend high level sports camps hosted by professional athletes.

Culinary Skills

Cooking Classes? We got 'em! Along with education about nutrition and the importance of staying active and healthy, it is also important to know how to safely and effectively prepare a meal. We have dedicated events for cooking, but we also incorporate this into our excursions to ensure the information is presented in a fun and interesting way.

Social Skills and Ettiquette

First impressions last forever, we prepare our kids for the often times unforgiving and high pressure situations which are typically associated with job interviews, professional networking, college interviews, etcetera.

Philanthropy and Community Involvement

Giving back to the community is a great way to connect with and develop a deeper appreciation for the place we call home. We create fun and enjoyable opportunities for our participants so they can learn to love serving their community.

College Prep. and Job Hunting

For our older participants we offer mentors and accredited services which can help them make the first, most important decision of their lives; whether to attend college, or join the workforce.
