Hunt Pray Eat's commitment to veterans is second to none. Our youth mentorship program offers something every veteran needs more than anything, a purpose; a purpose to get out of bed, a purpose to be the best version of themselves, and a purpose to keep showing up.
Monthly Excursions
Through our monthly excursions we create opportunities for our veterans to mentor young men who are growing up without fathers. These excursions take place outdoors and are equally as beneficial for our veterans, as they are for our boys. The recurring interactions with our youth gives our veterans even more reason to live a long, productive, and healthy life.
Financial Literacy
Veterans have the opportunity to attend a federally accredited financial literacy education program. This is an eight weeks long course which teaches adults the importance of their credit score, how to avoid predatory lending, as well as, how to manage personal and small business finances, among other things.
Emotional Intelligence & Stress Coping
We offer a range of services and resources for our veterans to help them learn critical skills, but also to connect with people and their community in a real and meaningful way. We provide each of our veterans with the personal cell phone number of a person within our organization to whom they can reach out anytime of day or night.
Professional Development
Our veterans have access to several resources designed to help them pursue a college degree, trade certification, or find employment.
Home Buying
We help veterans make one of the biggest decisions of their lives with resources which guide them through the home buying process, start to finish. We also have partnerships which give homes to veterans, at no cost.
VA Disability Rating Assistance
We are not able to offer legal advice, so what we offer instead is experience based guidance and assistance with gaining access to the proper resources.
Community and Belonging
We have specific events just for our veterans to connect with other veterans. We also plan trips and events for veterans to get away from everyday life and experience adventures all around the country and the world.
Philanthropy and Community Involvement
Giving back to the community is a great way to connect with and develop a deeper appreciation for the place we call home. We orchestrate large scale community service events where our veterans can connect with their communities in a meaningful way.
